Corrections & Updates

How we handle material errors and where significant research or factual changes are recorded.

How corrections are handled

FreeCell Now aims to correct material factual, game-state and research errors when they are identified. Small typographical or formatting fixes may be made without a public entry when they do not change the meaning of the page.

A correction is considered material when it changes a factual claim, a published deal result, a puzzle state, a research interpretation or a conclusion a reader could reasonably rely on.

Report a problem

Email [email protected] and include the affected URL, the specific claim or result, and any evidence needed to reproduce the issue. For DDI results, include the deal number where possible.

Research update log

Current DDI methodology v0.4.2

The current Deal Difficulty Index dataset was generated on September 15, 2026. It analyses 32,000 original Microsoft FreeCell deals, with 31,996 numeric ratings, 1 unsolvable deal and 3 unresolved deals kept outside the numeric ranking.

Methodology details and limitations are documented on the DDI Methodology page. Future material research changes should be added here with the date, version and practical effect of the change.
